By booking our services or browsing from www.abigailsfaceandbodyart.com ('the website'), you are agreeing to ABIGAIL'S ART full Terms of Service. We will collect, use and store personal data provided by you in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
Booking Procedure
Please allow at least 10 days in advance in order for us to make arrangements for your booking. Once you have decided to go ahead with the booking, we will request for your billing address and contact number in order to issue an invoice for your booking with payment details. A 50% deposit will be required to secure and confirm your booking which can be settled by cheque, bank transfer or online transfer. Once deposit is settled you will be given a Booking Confirmation with full details of your booking.
The remaining 50% fee must be settled by cash or cheque on site on the event date for personal bookings and by cheque or transfer within 30 days for corperate bookings.
Cancellation Policy
Once booking is confirmed the deposit is non-refundable and the booking is non-changeable, except where there is lack of availability upon rescheduling under a red or black rainstorm warning, or No.8 or above Typhoon signal is hoisted. Only under such extreme weather circumstances we will reschedule your booking depending on availability. The 50% deposit will be charged as cancellation fee for any cancellation under other circumstances.
Set Up Requirements
We normally arrive 15 minutes in advance to set up, please prepare 1 table not smaller than 80cm x150cm and 2 chairs in advance as it may cause delay if we do not have a table ready. Please also allow adequate space for children to queue up and good amount of lighting in the area. For outdoor bookings we will need shelter from rain, sun and strong wind.
Our face painting artists can paint around 12 quality faces in an hour depending on details of the designs. We may not be able to paint more than the agreed number of children upon confirmation. If you wish to have an additional number of children painted, a charge of 400HKD will be applied for every additional 30 minutes in which the availability of the face painter is not guaranteed, since the artist may have other appointments on the day. We often cannot go over the agreed time, this is due to our other commitments on the same day.
We encourage those who would like to have their face painted to queue up early once the painting time has begun, as we may cut the queue 15 minutes prior to the finish time depending on how busy it is, in which there is a possibility that we may not be able to paint those who queue up last. Please also consider timing carefully if you are to hire another entertainer during the event, the face painter may not be able to paint all the faces if everyone is off watching a show.
Products and Hygiene
ABIGAIL'S ART only uses professional water based face paints which are fully compliant with EU and FDA toy and cosmetic regulations which are hypoallergenic and has anti-bacterial formula that is specifically designed to be used on the face and skin. Paint can easily be removed using mild soap and water. Some skin types are prone to some mild initial staining in which case can be gently removed by a small amount of mild baby shampoo.Water is changed regularly during a booking and clean sponges used for each face. All equipment is thoroughly cleaned after each booking.
Safety
ABIGAIL'S ART have your children’s safety and interests in mind at all times and as a result we reserve the right not to paint under certain conditions:
- We do not paint anyone who has a runny nose, temperature, rash or any other visible skin condition such as but not limited to eczema, chicken pox, acne, cold sore, open woulds and eye infections.
- We do not paint faces of anyone under 3 years of age. The face paint manufacturers do not recommend paint for anyone's face below this age, however, we may paint a small design on their arms of children which will be at the discretion of the face painter.
- We do not paint any children against their wishes, face painting should be an enjoyable experience for the child so we may stop painting before the design is completed if a child becomes uncomfortable or changes his/her mind.
- All children must be under constant adult supervision while waiting for their turn or when being painted.
- The client is liable for any damage to the face painter's equipment, supplies or injuries caused by the client, clients' guests or pets.
ABIGAIL's ART reserves the right to amend the site or any part of the Terms of Service at any time, including the said rules and policies and the Privacy Policy. Please visit this page regularly or from time to time to check any updates. We will not be liable if for any reason certain "content" might become unavailable at any time period.
All "content" including but not limited to images, graphics, videos, audios and texts are the intellectual property of ABIGAIL's ART. These "content" are therefore protected by intellectual property and copyright laws and international treaty provisions. Any commercial use or non-personal use of the "content" of ABIGAIL'S ART without prior authorization by ABIGAIL's ART may result in civil consequences or criminal penalties.
